Boise Inc. was formed following the Aldabra 2 Acquisition Corp. purchase of the paper and packaging assets of Boise Cascade, L.L.C., in February 2008.

Our Businesses
Paper – First quarter combined 2008 sales: $425.7 million
- We manufacture uncoated free sheet paper, including commodity and premium grades, market pulp, and corrugating medium at four mills in the United States with annual production capacity of approximately 1.9 million short tons.
- We are the third largest North American manufacturer of uncoated free sheet products, including cut-size office paper, commercial printing paper, paper for business forms and envelopes, and premium copy paper.
- Our premium grades include bright and colored cut-size office papers, and our specialty papers are custom-developed for various uses, including label and release and flexible food packaging.
Packaging – First quarter combined 2008 sales: $173.4 million
- We manufacture linerboard and newsprint at our mill in DeRidder, Louisiana. This mill is one of the largest paper mills in North America, with annual production capacity of 1.0 million short tons.
- We also manufacture corrugated containers at five plants in the Pacific Northwest with an aggregate annual capacity of approximately 6.5 billion square feet.
- We operate a corrugated sheet plant in Waco, Texas.
- During 2006, our corrugated container plants consumed (either directly or through trades with other containerboard producers) approximately 74% of our containerboard production, including the linerboard manufactured at our paper mill in DeRidder and the corrugating medium manufactured by our paper segment.
