DEFOR® Packaging System
Boise Inc. has a peach of a product for customers who ship produce to retailers.
We have a license agreement with International Paper to manufacture and distribute the DEFOR® packaging system in eight western states: Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
These open-top, display-ready packages feature patented sloped sides, corner posts, and stacking tabs and receptacles. They’re built to protect fragile produce all the way from the
packing shed to the customer.
Boise Inc. produces this unique packaging system with:
- One- to four-color printing on die cut machines.
- Typically, 44 edge crush test (ECT) white linerboard.
We produce the DEFOR® packaging system at our facilities in Burley and Nampa, Idaho,
and in Wallula, Washington.
