Nationwide, hundreds of Boise Inc. employees are active board members, coaches, mentors, and court advocates. Employees participate in group projects for many nonprofit organizations, giving thousands of hours to these organizations.

Brad Richards has been involved with the Walla Walla County Fair & Rodeo since he was eight years old. He recently led fellow board members on a crusade to revamp the fairground’s historic 103-year-old pavilion. “It was either let it fall down or fix it,” says Brad. In addition to securing a $1 million grant from the state of Washington, Brad built and painted more than 20 massive wooden frames used for displays at what has become the state’s longest-running fair. Brad is a maintenance supervisor at our pulp and paper mill in Wallula, Washington.
