Employee Involvement
Nationwide, hundreds of Boise Inc. employees are active board members, coaches, mentors, and court advocates. Employees participate in group projects for many nonprofit organizations, giving thousands of hours to these organizations.
Proof of performance: Involvement is a privilege
Rusty Kidder, a millwright at our mill in Wallula, Washington, is a certified Special Olympics coach, and full-time caretaker and coach to grandson Curtis. "My involvement in Special Olympics has been a privilege," says Rusty. "It isn't what I give to the organization and the athletes; it's what they've given to me about what the real meaning of life is about."
